Review: An issue occurred with my checking account due to returned checks. The bank closed my debit card without contacting me - I had to seek them out to get an answer/explanation. They refuse to supply another debit card for six months. I have reached out asset recovery manager via telephone and email multiple times over several weeks to try and "make good" and find an alternate solution (i.e. do not accept checks on my account anymore) as having no immediate access to money is a detriment. No response has been provided. I have been a lifelong customer.Desired Settlement: Debit card reinstatement. Have offered to return checks to bank. Phone call please!!!!

Review: I fell on hard times last year. I contacted Sb1 regarding deferring payments on my auto loan and personal loan. They agreed to defer my payments for a few months until I was caught up. I filled out the paper work and sent it back to them. Thinking I was in deferment and getting caught up I received a phone call from their collections manager who was a total D. I explained to him that I had spoke with a few other reps from this company and I was able to defer my payments and sent in my paperwork. He basically called me a liar and demanded I pay my loan or a repo was in order. I questioned how when I faxed and mailed in copies of the deferment agreement. Didnt matter to them. All he was worried about was bullying me into giving up my car or pay the outstanding balance. Im not sure if their files are that screwed up in their systems or if its just the type of people working for them. Im not sure how a company that operates like this stays in business. Ive worked for "unions" in my life. Union workers are proud and hard workers. This is not the case here. Very unprofessional. I tried contacting to satisfy the loan and to get caught up however, I was informed that my loan was sent to a collection agency. Ive returned countless phone calls for months to this company and have still gotten no response back from Sterling Credit. If you wish to be bullied, deceived and have the worst customer service possible take care of your finances, by all means this is the company for you.Desired Settlement: Have a supervisor call me.
