Review: I am in the automotive transport business, when we purchase fuel with our own money. We MUST have a receipt for purchase that shows the amount of gallons pumped and what the cost is per gallon in order to get a refund from my employer. The I.R.S. requires a receipt with the same information in order to file your taxes and use the fuel as a write off. When you enter a gas station and hand them your money, they turn on the fuel pump for you to pump your fuel. The pump should stop at the amount you prepaid. After pumping your fuel you must go back into the cashier to get your receipt. This gas station would only give me a receipt that shows ( PREPAY pump 3 $15.00 ).I asked them for a gallon receipt. A gallon receipt shows the amount of gallons pumped and what the cost per gallon was and the total amount purchased. The tried several times to figure out how to get their computer to do this. they seemed to understand what I wanted, but didn't know how to do it.They finally said that they couldn't figure it out. SORRY! I explained to them that I must have this to get reimbursed for my fuel. Otherwise this is money out of my pocket. they said that they understand but couldn't help me. So I told them that my employer told me that it is illegal to sell something without a receipt showing what you purchased. The big guy behind the counter assured me that I was stupid. He has an MBA in business and in his 20 years of pumping fuel he has never heard of this law. They advised me to just write all the information on my prepaid receipt. I told them that my employer would not accept this. The problem with a prepaid receipt is that I could go into a gas station give them a $100 bill and then get a prepay receipt and then go out and pump $1 and then go back and ask for the difference in cash, give my employer the prepay receipt and then they get screwed out of $99 in fuel. This is why I must have a receipt that shows the gallons pumped and the cost per gallon with a total.HELP!

I need my $15.00 back that I can't get from my employer and would like them to be forced to give the correct receipts. Also have this complaint on their record.
