Complaint[redacted] made a contract with me while his license has been expired last year and charged me with a pre-payment and never showed up.I had paid pre-payment for tree service to this company and received the quote in writing. [redacted], [redacted] insisted on pre-payment and promised to start the work as soon as weather permits.I paid the pre-payment in July 2nd and was promised to have the tree services by mid July. They have never showed up or returned my calls except once around mid August when I called them with a different phone number. and when he recognized me, he said he could not perform the job due to his illness and referred me to someone else. I didn't accept the second contractor and asked for my pre-Payment return. I made several called asking my money back and never received any reply back.seems like a scam business... I went to the company office in west Boylston, and talked to one of the neighbors about the company. He said sawyer tree is out of business for a couple of years. I found exact same information from Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulations that this company's license has been expired since March 2012. It seems [redacted] is going arround with his truck marked with his company logo and makes fraud contract. Desired SettlementI just want a refund from that company.Business Response Last year I did not respond to a complaint because of unforeseen circumstances.
