SAWS (San Antonio Water System)

SAWS (San Antontio Water System) is not reading the utility meters for several months and are estimating usage. These estimates are not indicated on the bill - it appears as an actual reading and if you call in you are told your meter was read. When they do an actual reading a "true up" occurs but because there is a tiered rate structure you are thrown into "penalty pricing" and are charged more for the water that was used. This is a city wide problem that has been going on for well over a year.
