Review: the manager that is in charge on site, is not giving me any support, over charging me and making very difficult for me to do business with them and making me to lose money and time, because of their inappropriate way to handle business, I try to retrieved my items from this storage and he did not let me. They are charging me a lot of money I don't know why? And now he is going to give me hard time again to be able to retrieve a very important mail. That's the reason that I rented that box mail to be able to get that very important mail.Desired Settlement: I need them to fix the problem other wise I am in risk to loose a lot of money, and for these unethical practices I already lost money because he did not want ti give me access to my unit and I tried to report this to the company . I need that the people in charge or the owner fix this problem, I am not able to reach them. I tried several times but nobody payed attention. I needed to have access to my items, and I lost a lot of them because I could not retrieve the on time, now he is charging me for trash fee? I don't know what he is talking about I lost my things, and now my mail is coming and I don't know if he is going to do the the same thing and I am not going to be able to retrieve it, this is are two checks from the DMV. Please let me retrieve my items from the box mail so I could close my account with them and forget about ever do any business with these unethical people.

Response:
[redacted] rented from us on March 12th, 2013 and has given us problems from early on.
When she signed her contract with us we explained in detail to her about always using her gate code
going both on and off the property even ifthe gate was open. On March 23rd, 2013 I was outside
showing a new tenant how the gate works and it was partially open. [redacted] sped up and drove onto the
property without using her code. She got stuck at the gate and came inside the office and started yelling
at me in front of another prospective renter. When I asked her if she had entered her code she said no.
I'm not going to use my code every time I go in if the gate is open. I and Jose explained to her if she
didn't use it to go on the property she will be stuck here. She didn't care. All she kept saying to us is we
are mean and holding her captive. Whenever she is in the office she is always talking over whoever is
talking to her then saying we said other things to her. When she comes in the office I tell her I will call
someone else in. I do this so she can't say "[redacted] told me", or "[redacted] was mean to me."
She wanted to transfer to a smaller unit and I in detail explained to her she has to rent the other
unit. Pay the rent before her due date on the larger unit and we will prorate her rent for the larger unit
when she vacates it. She as usual was talking over me while I was trying to explain to her how the rental
process works. She then said I never gave her the option to prorate her rent which is a blatant lie. She
started yelling at me again and she stormed out and said I'm vacating my unit. 2 days later I went to rent
unit F41, which was a vacant unit close to hers, and it had a lock on it. No one had the unit rented so we
cut the lock and she had out her trash in the unit. I had Jose throw it in the trash can and only charged
her a cleaning fee. She should have also been charged rent and a cut lock fee of $20.00.
The owner ofthe company had put the cleaning fee on her account. When she logged into the
web site and saw it was on there and came in the next told saying she wasn't paying it. At first she said
she didn't put her stuff on the vacant unit then I told her we have her on camera doing it and she then
changed her story and tried turning on me. She keeps saying I told her we won't prorate her rent and I
never said that to her.
The day after we get the letter from the Revdex.com saying she filed a complaint against us she came in
and said can you do me a favor and give me my mail. I said to her you are joking, aren't you. She said
what are you talking about. I said you file a complaint with the Revdex.com against us which you know as well as
I, it isn't true. She started yelling at me so I called the owner in the office and completely agreed with
what I had told her and what I had done. He also couldn't believe she asked me to give her mail when
she was past due. He did give her a check she had received because she said if he gave it to her, she
would be able to pay here rent within 2 days, which she didn't do. She also said the disputed amount is
$180.00. She only owes us $50.00.
On August 6th, 2013 [redacted] came in and spoke with [redacted], the director of operations, and also
gave [redacted] a hard time. [redacted] explained to her she had not paid the rent after we gave her the check was
waiting for as she promised. [redacted] gave [redacted] a hard time as well and [redacted] wound up closing her mailbox

Response:
Regarding this issue below, we have been communicating closely with the tenant from the time she reported the package missing to hand delivering it to her as soon as package was in our possession again. I was doing a rental when the FedEx driver delivered it and he asked me to sign. I only saw two packages and didn't know there was a third. He put the package on a shelf that belongs to a mail group and I never saw it. The package went to them. As soon as we found out I called the manager of the mail group and the package was brought back to our facility. As soon as it came in I called [redacted] and let her know. She came in the next morning and picked it up. She was very happy when she was here and thanked me for my help. I also had a long talk with the FedEx driver letting him know not to put packages on shelves and only put them on the floor which has been protocol.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
