I took my lawnmower deck to them on April 9, 2019. They never even looked at it until April 24, 2019. At that point they said they had to have my tractor to determine the problem. They came and picked up my tractor April 24, 2019. They said they were waiting on two brackets to attach deck to mower. After repeated calls and attempts to get my tractor back before I was cited by the town because my grass was up to my rear end, I told them I wanted my tractor back. They told me I could have the tractor back only if I paid for the parts they already had. I was surprised that they would say that, I was not about to have them take off the new parts and put the old parts back on. Imagine my shock and surprise when I got back my tractor with the old blade in the cup holder and all the new parts uninstalled and in a box. Even worse, there was a screw in my back tire, the tractor would only run for about 5 minutes before stalling out, the battery would go dead and have to be charged for 6 hours before it would start again and now it will not start at all. It had none of those problems when they took it away. I will have it taken someplace else where I can actually trust the business that was referred to me by a friend. But this business took overt 1/3 of my social security check and left me worse off than I was before they took my tractor and I still can't cut my grass. They did offer to come out and cut my grass once, but it was right after a friend had cut my front yard and you can't just cut the back yard you have to pick up all the downed tree branches first and you can't see them with the grass that high
To whom it may concern, as per this customers letter it is easy to figure out who was the problem. When her deck was picked up she was told it would be AT LEAST A 3 WEEK WAIT. When it came up in the pile which was within the three weeks we then found that we needed the tractor in order to be able to do the repair. As per her letter we expedited her pick up and went and picked it up that afternoon. We then called her with an estimate and she told us to proceed with the repair. We then ordered the parts. The distributor had most of the parts but did not have the 2 brackets needed to attach the deck to her tractor. They placed them on back order from the manufacturer. We called her and explained the situation. She was very upset and called us numerous times to complain. We offered to send someone to cut her grass and she refused. We went by her residence and it was already cut. She then called the mfg. and told us (very loudly and rudely in front of customers at our counter) they had the brackets and she could order them herself so she did and told us to cancel our order. The mfg. then called her days later to inform her that the parts would be on back order until sometime in July. Which is what we originally told her. She then came in insisting she wanted her machine returned. We were happy to oblige her as she was becoming more and more irate. She was billed for the parts already received as they could not be returned and for the pick up and delivery charges. What complaint she thinks she may have should have been aimed at the manufacturer not at us. I truly hope she was able to resolve her issue.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They are untrue from the very first statement, they did NOT pick up my deck as they say they did, I delivered it to them, they did NOT tell me it would sit there for 3 weeks before they even looked at it. They had it for almost two months and they could not even put the other parts on it and return it even though I told them 3 times that my town fines you if your grass is not cut. They do not mention why it was returned with a screw in the rear tire or why it will not run now even though it ran perfectly when they took it
It is being picked up by a different repair place today and hopefully I will soon find out why it repeatedly stalled and then totally quit running but I sure dont have anything nice to say about a business that couldn't even repair the deck after two months even though they had all the parts to repair the deck with and it would have worked with the bent brackets to hang the deck until the new brackets arrived but they charged me for labor and shop supplies and returned my tractor unrepaired and in worse shape than when I sent it to them.
Great Service
I bought a bagger from Saville's in Orchard Park for my Cub Cadet. It arrived as promised but the chute was the wrong size. Cub Cadet made 3 different deck sizes that year. Saville's came to my house, figured out correct size and delivered the part. That is excellent service. Would *** or *** provided that kind of service? Does *** or *** have a service dept. like Saville's? The answer is absolutely not. That is why, when I buy a new mower or snow blower, I am going to Saville's.
