SCAM
Scam artists, stole money from my elderly mother's account for several months, despite the fact she never registered nor had an email address to subscribe in the frist place.

Don't bother ringing them, call your bank, and tell them the money was fraudulently taken from your account. (also block further transactions) it's the only way to get your money back.

These horrid sacks of human waste are a cancer on society.

Tried cancel my subscription
It's been months my account statement showing me ~30£ transaction. Dont even know for what I been charged!
Called them. Noone answer- found cancellation link. Not working. Now can't log in on my account and still paying for subscription. Send already 3 emails - no respond.
Wish to get my money back.
And cancel that damn- subscription

Vulnerable disabled lady savercity took money NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE
For months savercity have been taking money out of my account and I have been trying desperately to get the payments stopped and reimbursement for my disability benefit as I have been fraudulently hacked and my money that is vital to manage I still haven't got any of the money it's stealing and my vulnerability has not been easy to try and get anything reinstated as I can't use telephone and I am so very stressed and I have never arranged this but I am stuck with the mess isolated and it is not right as I don't know why or how with whom can I get help

Was assured REPEATEDLY that the $in gas rebates was mine, regardless of whether I cancel the savingscity subscription or not - the rebates were MINE just for signing up! La-dee-dah! Well, lo and behold, I soon cancelled my subscription because it was useless to me, and proceeded to take the steps necessary to get my first $gas rebate, and three months later when no money was deposited into my account, I called them and was told "Oh, no, ma'am, you have to be an active member to receive those rebates." TA DA! To be honest, the whole way this "business" conducted itself had me sceptical from the beginning, so I'm not really that surprised [redacted] *

[redacted] They'll call you to offer you a free $gas coupon with no purchase necessary, all you have to do is pay the initial mailing service of $for the coupon and information while you have days to decide if you are interested, if not, you can cancel it and keep the gas couponBut what they are actually sending you is a letter of instructions to register on a website and no gas coupon [redacted] [redacted] if you are not interested, you have to call each and every program to cancel, where each program has its own separate number which they do not inform you about, and that's how they get youYou will be charged for all other programs you didn't know about to calland they will refuse to reimburse you for those fault charges because it was "your fault" for not calling each number for each different program

You would have been offered a trial membership for each program, and in the letter/email you received explaining the trial membership there is a URL that links you to download the registration form for the gasoline rebate.

Miscommunication is definitely the ***; I was advised by the representative, for trying their savercity website I would be emailed a dollar gas voucher I would be able to redeem through my email and I would have access to their website to view deals and aving coupons
What they failed to mention was it is a voucher that has to be mailed to an address at a limit of dollars up to times/up to dollars and it may take up to to weeks to receive said dollar voucher, the gas voucher, which is the only reason why I was interested and was actually interested in viewing their website if their offer was legit, once finding about this I cancelled and was informed to contact their refund dept if I had any problems with program to receive my trial membership fee
I was transferred to a person who blatantly told "we cant just give you dollars gas!" And the the trial memebership is non refundable, why have a refund dept if all they say is no we cant do thatHad I was informed about the process about receiving this voucher I would not have gone through with this so said saving website, I was lead to believe the dollar voucher would be in my email and could be printed immediately which is not the case

We apologise for the confusion. Unfortunately we are unable to outline the full terms for the use of our memberships and benefits at the time of enrolment. For this reason we offer the trial period at a discounted price of only $1.95 so you can look into all the benefits and see if the program is something that works for you.

***I did not go to register to their website to download any couponsWhen I received a letter from saverscity and holiday savers,, I called immediately to cancel and waive the fees 2x She said "cannot waive fees you already get an informations"I told her is not okay and she hung up on me

Despite being on the Do Not Call list, I got a call from Savers City which also telemarkets for Holiday City, and offerred $100 in gas vouchers to start a membership to both. I signed up, with the intention to check out the program and if all else failed and I did not like / need it, I would have the gas vouchers. I was told they would be sent via email, and a welcome package with some start up offers would arrive by snail mail within a week. I ALWAYS turn these things down but this one sounded somewhat legit and I was interested in the travel offers. Of course...neither the email or ground mail packages every came. I called to inquire once after about a week or signing up and was told they did send it all, there must be mistakes on my end or spam filters were not allowing the email vouchers. I confirmed all my email / address information, and of course it was right, with my spam filters working just fine. They just didn't do it. It's how they get you to sign up and then simply don't send their side of the deal. I cancelled one week later and am out about $30. Don't do it.

Sometimes the bank will decline our attempts to bill you the membership fee. We do attempt to rebill and keep your account active if possible, but if our attempts continue to fail our system automatically cancels the membership.

SaversCity.ca offers a trial membership for $1.95 with a 14-day trial. The only other membership we offer is it's sister program, HolidaySavers.ca which has the same price. We always make sure to send you out information that has all the contact information for each program to make sure you have everything you need.

[redacted]. They call you to let you know that there is a one time charge of $17.83 and promise you gifts. Well, I am still waiting for these gifts after 7 months. Also the one time charge of $17.83 ended up becoming a monthly charge. And when you call them to cancel, they give you a hard time. To make it worse, after you cancel your account, they change their name to Holiday savers and continue billing your credit card.

We do offer two separate memberships called SaversCity.ca and HolidaySavers.ca, it sounds like you may have signed up to both but only contacted customer support for SaversCity.ca to cancel that one.
