Saveri Family Eye Care

Review: Paid $350 at time of service as our insurance has limited vision coverage. Our insurance co said we should have been told at time of service 07/25/13 that [redacted] would cover the visit as it was a medical issue (a cataract)with a $25 copay. They charge customers a $95 copay as insurance pays a fraction of what someone without insurance would pay. I think that is why they won't submit our claim to [redacted] as they have their money (way more than insurance would give them) and simply don't care that I paid them with a credit card that I have to pay on. We have called and visited the store repeatedly and are always told the same thing. Only the office mgr ([redacted]) can submit it and she is always out of the office or sick. I did speak to her once back in October and she said she would send it in and refund us the difference but did not. The sad part of this is that my husband really liked Dr Saveri and planned on seeing him again after his surgery and now he has to look for a different Doctor because his staff can't get together to get this resolved.Desired Settlement: the vision portion of my insurance already refunded $30. My insurance said I have a $25 copay so the balance due would be $295.

filed 12/3/13 on our behalf against Saveri Family Eye Care for $295 has been resolved. They called today to come in and have our credit card refunded and then want us to have the complaint removed or they would seek legal action against us.
