I took in a white comforter to the Carson City Store on 8/6/2015 to be cleaned. When I picked it up a few days later, I noticed that there was a black shoe print on one corner of the comforter that was not on it when I dropped it off, and I immediately showed it to [redacted] (the employee) who stated he would send it back to have them clean it again and remove the stain. I went back to the store a few more times over the next few weeks, finally it came back, but some of the stain was still there. [redacted] spoke with [redacted] (the owner?) by phone, who said to send it back to the Reno store for cleaning again. I kept checking back to see when it would be done over the next few weeks, still wasn't back. [redacted] gave me [redacted]'s number and I called numerous times. I was finally able to speak with him personally and he said that they could not get it all the way out, I suggested trying again by washing it, not dry cleaning it. Weeks later it came back to Carson, [redacted] and I looked at it and still was stained. On 10/21/15 I filled out a claim form at the Carson store that [redacted] gave me, he took it to [redacted]. I have left numerous messages with [redacted] to call me and give me status update on the claim and he will not call me back. I put in the claim for $50.00 (original cost was $130.00 a few years ago) and have not received payment either. This has been going on for over 3 months and I am upset that I cannot get them to call me back or pay me for the damaged item. I left the comforter at the Carson City location with [redacted]. Can you please assist me in getting this resolved?Desired SettlementI would like to receive payment as I requested on the claim form that I filled out. I had asked for $50.00 on my claim, I originally paid $130.00 for it.
Back in October I went into this establishment to drop off a jacket to get cleaned. I paid up front received my confirmation of payment and day to pick up. Came in to pick up about a week after and I was told that the item wasn't ready and the kind of jacked I dropped off was a "special fabric that needed more time to work on". I didn't give it another thought and told them I would pick it up the following week. When I came in that week I was told they could not find my jacket and that they would have to "get back to me". I relayed to them that I was told initially that it needed more time to be worked on, not that it was lost. The young man at the front desk apologized and said he would call me back with an update in an hour. He did call me and said that he could not find my jacked and that management would call me, he didn't have any authority in that area. I since have not received any phone calls after calling them back twice since then. I filled out a form with them to get reimbursed for the value of the jacket back in January 2015. After researching online I did find that this business gets poor reviews and does not do honest business.Desired SettlementI would like for the value of the jacket to be given to me in the form of a check for $50 along with the cleaning fee I paid of $5. Final Consumer Response The cleaners issued a check of $50 2 days after I posted the complaint. The issue has been resolved.
