If you are considering Interstate Motors, please READ THISAfter having a NIGHTMARE experience with a different auto dealership on the east side (nearly had to get a lawyer involved), my husband and I were jaded and distrustful but still in need of a carWe knew exactly what we wanted in a pre-owned vehicle and Shawn happened to have it in his inventoryBut we were (rightfully) wary and scared of trusting a dealership againOur new-found distrust put a lot of pressure on Shawn, and he could have easily brushed it aside with a take-it-or-leaattitudeInstead, he went ABOVE and beyond to make us feel comfortable and assured at every pointHe let us both test drive the vehicle multiple timesHe answered any and all questions honestly and fullyWhen we told him we were interested but wanted to have it looked over by a licensed mechanic, he held the car for us until that could be doneAnd when we discovered there were a few unexpected repairs needed, he went above-and-beyond (again) and worked with us to have them fixed using his own trusted mechanicThe necessary repairs took a bit longer than expected (not Shawn's fault), but throughout the process Shawn was apologetic and accommodatingHe even gave my husband a loaner car for the week so we weren't put out And to top it all off, this was all done before we even signed a contract and purchased the carWhen the time came to do so, we could not have been happier or more confident I have never received better customer service in ANY industry than what Shawn gave usHe was honest, flexible, accommodating, and did everything he could to reassure our nervesNot once did we feel like he was pressuring us, not once did he exhibit impatience or annoyance for our wariness, and not once did we feel like he had anything to hideIn fact, he was so transparent and approachable that we both felt like he treated us more like family as opposed to strangers (or worse: money symbols)Shawn stressed again and again that he is all about building long-term relationships with his customers rather than making a quick sale, and it definitely showsI cannot recommend this family-owner business enoughIf you are looking for a car, go see himyou will not regret it
