Finally, after many years of having my furnace(s) serviced I finally found AireServ Calgary whose receptionist fwd my heating concerns to their Heating department.. Guess what, I got a call back within the hour from Zack, a person who actually understood what my concerns were in regards to my Carrier mid-efficient 8 yr old furnace. We chatted, he gave me a few tips and other information and I ended up with a service call appointment within 24hrs. My service tech was Peter... now Peter - with all his test eqpt was someone who .applied his knowledge and gave the furnace A FULL CHECK UP, one that I have been looking for each of my yearly service calls.. Peter know the ins and out of everything and explained what tests he was doing and the results. He assured me that the fan was heavy enough to handle what my house would need but did indicate that it was a bit bigger in BTUs for the size of my house. Finally Peter addressed a concern I had in regards to a moisture drip coming from the bottom of the flue (what I call a chimney) .with a few twists and turns he had the pipe free from the elbow., the elbow off so he could inspect the flue ... found the problem, corrected it, reassembled everything, close up the furnace and packed up all his eqpt..- all that was left was the paper work which he handled on his tablet.. All-in-all, I was most empressed with Peter's work and how open he was in explaining everything.. A bonus was Peter did not try to sell me an upgraded furnace.. although, if I wanted a new one he would arrange that. No, you have a good furnace that will last for many years was his last comment. Plain and simple it was a very good experience with Peter and AireServ Calgary. - Thanks Zack and Peter!
