Review: My name is [redacted] and my father in law name is [redacted]. I have used my credit card to purchase a gift airline ticket on September [redacted] of last year to my father in law so he could travel from Egypt to NYC and back. The dates and transit times were chosen carefully to fulfill [redacted]'s needs and medical conditions. On October [redacted], I received an email from them with certain changes they made on his flight hours and days. So instead of waiting for 4 hours in Saudi Arabia and traveling back to Egypt on November [redacted], my 67 years old father in law was supposed to stay in the airport for 41 hours and travel to Egypt on November [redacted]. When I called Saudi Airways and told them the terms of agreement have changed and my father can't make it, they said we will issue you a refund if you request so. It's been 4 months since then and they have not issued me the refund till now. They keep blaming the website company of which I have used to book the ticket. The company which called Orbitz has told me we can't issue you a refund until they approve it which was done verbally to both me and Orbitz. The ticket number is [redacted].

At this time, I have not been contacted by Saudi Arabian Airlines Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Review: First, I have a son who's daignosed with [redacted], and of course we travel with his wheel chair which is really heavy and expensive too. I was coming from [redacted] with my my family to the US and my son was on his chair right before we got on the air plane directly From the [redacted] to [redacted]. Unfortunately, his chair came broken and was not even in a god shape to put my son on it and we had another connection flight to [redacted] and the transit time was less than 3 hours so we had to move forward and we had to use a very uncomfortable small stroller for him with out any support for him. From that day till today Saudi Airlines Flight ** Aug [redacted] and the chair still broken and not repaired till today because they are delaying the payment to national seating and mobility in [redacted]. Thank youDesired Settlement: Pay whatever they have to pay to fix my son's wheelchair. If not then I'm losing twice, first living without the chair for a very long time and caused my son a lot of health problem. Second, paying the repair out of my pocket more than $1000.

I am writing to provide an update on complaint ID# [redacted] submitted by [redacted]. I spoke with [redacted] on March **, 2015 to obtain the necessary information (claim reference#/ticket#) to research his claim. [redacted] stated that he never filed a claim for the damaged wheelchair. He mentioned that he filed a claim for delayed luggage (the items were located and delivered to his home address) and asked the airport staff to add the damaged wheelchair to the claim. I requested the claim reference#, ticket# and any other supporting documents. Passenger never provided the requested documents. Thank you for your cooperation. Please contact me should you have any questions. Warmest Regards, [redacted]
Review: Dear Sir or Madam,
I took the Saudi Arabian Airline flight [redacted] from [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] December*, 2014 and then took the connecting Saudi Arabian Airline flight [redacted] from [redacted], [redacted] to [redacted], [redacted] on December*, 2014. The reservation number of this itinerary was [redacted], and the ticket number was [redacted]. I checked one luggage when check-in in [redacted], [redacted] on December*, 2014 but did not receive my luggage when arriving at [redacted], [redacted] airport at [redacted] on December*, 2014. I reported luggage delay to [redacted], the Customer Relations-Baggage Service [redacted] of Saudi Arabian Airline in [redacted] airport on December*, 2014. Then, he gave me a letter showing that the baggage was delayed and also gave me a baggage delay report showing the file reference number of the baggage (The file reference number: [redacted]).
However, it has been 7 days since I reported the luggage delay on December*, 2014. I still have not received my luggage yet. Therefore, I have to purchased some essential items during the baggage delay. As I just mentioned, I contacted [redacted], the baggage service [redacted] of Saudi Airline in [redacted] airport, and the customer service of Saudi Arabian Airline (###-###-####). They both were not able to process the reimbursement of this cost (474.08 US dollars; The itemized copy of the receipts for essential items purchased during the baggage delay will be provided upon request)Desired Settlement: The itemized copy of the receipts for essential items purchased during the baggage delay will be provided upon request. I would like to let them reimburse this cost.

Review: My experience, involving much time and effort, is outlined here. I hope it would serve as part of a wake-up call for Saudi Airlines and for SkyTeam whose membership seeks to portray themselves as "Caring more about you" while Saudi Airlines service rates an F with the Revdex.com.
My flight was to be on March **, 2013 from [redacted] to [redacted]. In planning my flight early, I did a search for airfares on [redacted] on August **, 2012 and found an excellent bargain on Saudi Airlines. It even indicated if I paid an extra $30 that would seem to insure I would get back most of my fare if I unexpectedly had to cancel or change the ticket. I paid a total of $205.10. The schedule on March ** was to fly from [redacted] at 10:00 arriving at Jeddah at 12:50. I would then wait in the airport until 21:50 when the next flight would take me to [redacted] arriving at 12:30 a.m.
On March *, 2013 I received an email saying I should call the Saudi Airlines office in [redacted] urgently because of a misconnection on my flight. I called and found that the flight from Jeddah to [redacted] had been changed to fly leaving at 11:05 a.m., an hour and 45 minutes before my flight from [redacted] would arrive. Since I needed to fly on that day, I would need to fly on another airline. I called the [redacted] office and was politely informed by the supervisor that I could cancel the ticket and my credit card would be credited. That would have to be done online at the Saudi Airlines website where I bought the ticket.
I sent the Saudi Airlines office in Saudi Arabia an email about my situation and got no response. I tried again in April and finally got a response from a [redacted] who responded "Kindly visit the nearest saudi office for full refund." That was misleading in that each office I contacted indicated that they had no authority to give such a refund, but they would have to forward the request to the main office in Saudi Arabia.
Repeatedly, I would contact this office in New York through email and phone calls to check on the status of my claim. Each time this office, like the office in [redacted], was very helpful and courteous. Repeatedly an agent, and later the office supervisor, would relay my requests, questions, and comments to the head office in Saudi Arabia. To no avail.
Unexpectedly on Nov. **, 2013 my credit card was credited $47.49 from Saudi Airlines. Was that a payment toward the $205.10 air ticket cost from the airline flight I was unable to take? I received no notice from Saudi Airlines that I had received this credit, nor what it was for. It was never clarified for me and the balance of $157.61 was never paid.
Even though my complaint is given against this office in New York, that is not where the problem lies. The problem is at the highest level in the airline headquarters in Saudi Arabia. And this is owned and controlled by the Saudi Arabian government. My case is minor compared to some of the complaints filed here. It would seem that in this modern age of the internet that Saudi Airlines would want a good reputation to help their airlines. But the F rating given here, and the refusal of the airlines to even respond to the Revdex.com about such complaints, reflects poorly on them.Desired Settlement: The balance of $157.61 refunded to my credit card.
Review: I had booked a round trip ticket on Saudi Airlines departing Mumbai on April ** to JFK and returning on May [redacted]. The airlines changed my flights and now I have a 18 hr and 22 hr layover on both ways. I requested them to change flight but they refused
Layovers this long without being offered transit visa and hotel by the airline is unacceptable by international standards. My original lay over was 8 hrs both ways.
I requested them through [redacted] several times for a change in flight but the airline refused to offer a change. They are not providing me an alternate flight with another carrier or one of their airlines. I even offered a flexibility on date i.e I offered to fly on [redacted] April instead where they have an available flight with a shorter layover. They still refuse to make the change.Desired Settlement: I demand a immediate refund of the entire amount along with a compensation of $3000 for three tickets I booked with the airline 4 months before my desired travel date. The airlines changed the schedule 3 weeks before I was due to fly and due visa regulation it is illegal for an US national to even be in Saudi Arabia for over 18 hours.
I had to rebook a flight today with another airlines and I paid twice as much as the original fare.

Review: We took Saudia Airlines from NEW YORK JOHN F Kennedy to Jeddah trip SV 22 going to Riyadh then to Jeddah.
ETKT [redacted] When we arrived we found that our luggage was missing. We filed a complaint with my name and my wife's name Minnatallah Embaby. File reference number is [redacted] It took around 5 days to restore our luggage. We had to buy new clothes for our daughter Randa Abdelaziz (2 years old) and medications as well other stuff for myself and my wife. Moreover when we received the luggage contents were destroyed and misplaced.
We called and were promised by Mr. Mahmoud that we will get a 500 Riyal Saudi in currency to help with the fees we encountered. I went personally to Saudia headquarters in Jeddah airport and they denied giving me any settlement. I referenced the conversation with Mr. Mahmoud but they insisted on refusing giving me any moneyDesired Settlement: Please provide us with 150 dollars to cover expenses and looses.
