Review: I ordered a pair of earrings that were on sale for $84.00, I received these earrings and they were not as advertised! They were tarnished and damaged.
When I received that I sent them back right away (which I had to pay for) using the code ** (Item damaged) and ** (Quality)
I received the earrings and a letter back saying sorry no refunds or exchanges on sales items, which I understand if the item I got was as photo'd.
I when called them saying that was unfair since the item I received was not even close to the item on the website that I ordered, after talking with some one for over 20min explaining my case and
how unfair it was since my item was damaged and not like advertised.
I was rudely then told to send them back again and they would relook at them.
So now I have paid two times to send them back, this time I enclosed a photo of the earrings online that I ordered and the earrings I received so they could see my side, with a letter explaining how I felt.
Instead of getting my payment method back I just received an email saying I have a $84.00 online store credit, even without an apology.
If need I have all copies of everything sent to Satya Jewelry including the photo of the earring on the website I ordered and a photo of the earring I was sent!Desired Settlement: I want my payment method credited, NOT a store credit

Review: I purchased a necklace from their Columbus Circle location on Dec **, 2013. Just before purchase, as the store return policy was not visible, I asked about the return and refund policy as the item was a gift. I was verbally told that I would be able to return the item and would be able to receive a refund in the event the gift was not liked.
This was the case, the gift was not liked. However, upon trying to return the item I noticed the receipt stated store credit only and 14 day return period. At the store, when I went back to return on Dec **, 2013 I was told verbally the return policy had been extended till mid January of 2014, but for exchange or store credit only. This policy was not stated anywhere in the store, neither visibly clear or identifiable.
I wrote to the customer service on their website via e-mail, and received a written response by e-mail from the manager of the store stating the store policy was no refunds and the return/exchange policy had been extended till mid January of 2014, but no refunds, so store credit. On emphasizing I was told I would be able to get a refund, the manager wrote back and stated the staff was aware of the policy and if I did not like the necklace, the staff will assist me in finding something suitable. I wrote back and stated that I know what I was told with respect to a refund for return and that it should be made clear in the store. I did not receive a response.
I went back on January [redacted], 2014 to get the store credit as I thought I had no options, and then thereafter, a friend told me I should contact Revdex.com as my rights had been violated. So this is what I am doing.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund back to my credit card, but I was told by the manager by e-mail that their accounting system would not allow this. Anyway, I was verbally told I could get a refund if the gift was not liked, so this is the case, and this is what I would like. I have been cheated into a purchase, as this would not have been a purchase I would have made if the store policy was clear and visible. I would not buy something as a gift if there was not an option for refund. The lady who helped me with the purchase specifically told me I would be able to get a refund if the gift was not liked.
