I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I still disagree that I was treated fairly, but I am ready to put this matter to rest. I paid the $200 bill. I hope J & P Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. will tell people UP FRONT that the more time they are at your house, the higher the bill will be. If it was up to me, I would NOT use J & P again, but they are the company my Co-op uses, so I have no choice.
Regards,

"shooting the breeze" objection. We accommodated [redacted]'s objection to the original bill by giving her a discount. There is a dollar cost of doing business. Not all customers appreciate the value of the work we do, and the advice we give, even after it solves the problem they are experiencing, a problem they cannot solve on their own. Unfortunately not all customers are satisfied, even after a substantial accommodation is made. We wish we could have made [redacted] totally happy, but felt her demands were unreasonable.
We gave [redacted] a reasonable discount on the bill, based on the work completed. The work is not the responsibility of the condo association. That should be the end of the matter.
