*** *** The response did not state the facts accurately. I have a copy of the paperwork from Grande Apartments on which was the original forwarding address. The address thereon was correct. The incorrect address which *** included in her response was apparently made up to cover the fact that Satellite did not send the refund check within the mandated days, to avoid paying the complete refund. If the check had in fact been mailed to the incorrect address, the Post Office would have returned it to her "No Such Address". Also, the pictures she said were in the text did not appear. Neither did she provide documentation that a check had been issued
Good morning: We received the Revdex.com complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]. This matter has been handled. Her refund was originally mailed but never arrived due to a wrong address. I cancelled the original check and since have reissued a replacement check dropping the cleaning fee as a token of our appreciation for her tenure tenancy. The check was mailed earlier this week. We did deduct outstanding water, trash and sewage bills. Ms. [redacted] claims to have paid one of the two however, we do not show receipt of such payment and when I called the money order issuer company they stated that the money order has not been endorsed. I therefore informed Ms. [redacted] that the burden of proof falls back on her and she will need to prove that she submitted the money order. I asked her to provide me with the method of delivery and to who she handed the money order to. I am still waiting for a response for that information. Thank you, [redacted]
Management justified the deductions made by providing the customer with copies of receipts, pictures and adjusting the restoration deductions accordingly. The matter was closed with both parties agreeing to a mutual agreement of zero refund and zero amount due from resident. TD
