Complaint[redacted] We hired SaskPower to install power to 4 lots at [redacted] in Saskatchewan. They gave a quoted price to install power on each lot up 80m into the property. We visited the site and we got only 6m into the properties. We are short by my math 296m of pipe and wire. But yet they are still charging us the quoted amount without any adjusting to the bill to reflect that we are short 296m or pipe and wire. This was discussed with them many times with no response anymore just telling us to pay the bill or be charged interest. I would expect to get what paid for or adjust the invoice accordingly to reflect that we only got 36 metres total of the 320 metres they quoted us. The quote for service included the installation of distribution facilities along with the individual services to each lot. In accepting our quote, the customer entered into a contract that specified the overall cost of the project as well as the maximum length of service for each lot. The exact point of service was not identified at the time of application and as such the quote assumed a typical service length. The maximum length of service was stated to identify the limitation of the size of cable. The construction charge given in the letter of quote is not negotiable after the services have been provided. Upon review of this job, actual costs of the work exceeded the estimate that the customer paid.
