MrB** contacted Revdex.com regarding this caseAt the time the vehicle was delivered for the customer the vehicle was check over by a representative for the customerThere were no damages found or noted at that timeThe customer contacted the business after days to report damage to the vehicle and
said that he would have to pay an insurance deductible to repair the workthe business offered at the time to provide *** as a good faith gesture but the customer needed to provide the insurance documents to provide the cost of the deductibleThe customer did not respond to that offer and after the additional time that has pasted the business is not able to continue that offer, at this time there is no documentation of damage done while he vehicle was in the possession of the business
I do not accept Mr. B**’s offer of [redacted] settlement. The total cost of the repair to my vehicle was $23,465.09. My out of pocket over insurance was $2664.41. My insurance paid over $20,000 for his negligence. I have attached the appropriate documentation. The car was picked up after dark on 9 December 2016 and delivered two days later to my garage in Florida near midnight. There was no damage noted on the bill of lading when the car was loaded. My neighbor received the car which Mr. B** placed in the garage. I noted the damage on 4 January 2017 when I arrived in Florida and took the car out of the garage into the daylight. The panoramic roof had a large crack in the glass near the dirver side of the vehicle. When I took it to the local [redacted] dealer, they also found two matching scrape marks on the underside of my front bumper. The scrapes were wide and down to the fiberglass. The dealer inspectors noted chips in the crack area and speculated that a chain or some such object was dropped on the roof to cause the chips resulting in the cracks. Additionally, the scrapes were no doubt caused by bottoming out the car in the loading unloading process. The car was offloaded and reloaded more than once as it was only the third car loaded and at the back bottom of the carrier. The insurance did not cover the painting. The paint is special order [redacted] matte finish paint that requires complete painting of the body part to repair/match. This was an unprofessional job as compared to the one other time I have shipped the vehicle. In this case, no documentation of any damage was noted at loading and not inspection documentation was completed on delievery. In my previous experience with a professional shipper, the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and loaded with care. At receipt, I was there for the unloading and a complete inspection was performed. There was not a mark on the vehicle. I would like full compensation for my out of pocket expenses. It not, I want this complaint to remain forever to warn other potential shippers of the risk with this business.
