I received a dress for my birthday and it did not fit. I returned it to the Saratoga Sundress location in Latham, NY. They gave a refund of approximately $70.00 and said it would be associated with my phone number ***. I went in the fall to buy a dress for a wedding and the store was closed. Now I went to use my $70.00 credit at the location in Saratoga and that is also closed. It closed abruptly and suddenly and I was never notified. I would like my credit or money back from my account listed under *** Thank you
I made a purchase from saratogasundress.com in December 2018. The item did not fit, so I returned the item to the store in Saratoga, NY. The cashier gave me a code redeemable for store credit. The store closed suddenly without any notice and reopened under a new name/in a new location. I have tried to contact the store but have not gotten a response. A friend of mine also inquired and received a response in which they denied her a refund or store credit for the new website.
Manager of the Latham store refused to take back a return for store credit even with my item meeting the policy that states that the item must be returned “within 30 days in an unworn condition with tags attached.” They have misrepresented their policy since they don’t say they reserve the right to refuse any item being returned.
Revdex.com spoke with business owner. He stated that the consumer came in to store, with no receipt, but it was on her phone. No tag on the garment of clothing. Per the store manager, it also looked like it had been worn. We told the consumer that we could not accept the merchandise without tags. She left the store and several hours later she returned with the merchandise, which now had the tag attached. There are consumers that attempt to purchase an item, wear it and try to return it for a refund. Unfortunately, per our store policy, we could not give her a refund or a store credit.
