Each applicant is charged a $50.00 dollar fee to be processed. All applicants are told that if they pass the review and rent the space, that fee will...

be given back to them. There was no guarantee offered as it is not possible to know if the applicant will pass the review and be offered the space. They were not forced to do anything. Their current landlord would not provide certain information (rental history) to us to complete our review. We were told that the applicant could obtain this information from their current landlord.
