She asked me $1000 for healing but only said some ambiguous words and then told me to write her good reviews and asked me to do a regular energy cleaning process. I said I’m gonna call the police and then she kicked me out.

I am embarrassed but several years ago I went to her shop. I was a broke student on loans and I gave her $1000 because she said it would help with my healing.

Review: I went to [redacted]or a psychic reading on Friday July **, 2014. She surprised me with her knowledge of significant events of my life, & names of people close to me. She told me I couldn't tell anyone that I saw her, otherwise her help wouldn't work. She said she was going to need $500 to get rid of dark energy. She asked for $75 on Friday & said I was to bring her the $500 Saturday, so she could start working. I went back on Saturday July **. Then, instead of needing $500 to work, she said she needed $5,200. She said the spirits told her that I have about $7000 in savings - which is true! I got scared. I told her I can't give her $5,200. She said "Well then, I can't help you. Don't you want my help, [redacted]? If I don't help you, you won't be able to make this money back & more in your future! You're going to lose your job & never meet your soul-mate." Before I knew it, I was trembling & handing her my credit card to put $1000 on. She requested $2000 cash on top because I couldn't give her the full $5,200) & asked me to go to the bank to take it out in cash. I went, but the Chase receipt said that my daily withdrawal limit was $800, so that's all I took out. I came back & told her that. She asked what I had in my wallet. I had $50 & she wanted that, so I coughed it over. AFTER the transaction she said that she WOULDN'T be able to start the work cause I didn't give her $2000 cash & she couldn't give me a receipt for the cash because it's "bad luck" & to give her the rest of the 2000 cash on Tuesday so she could start. I called [redacted] yesterday & told her I felt uncomfortable about giving her all that money. She told me not to worry & to call her tomorrow (today) & still see her on Tuesday. All day yesterday, my mom kept asking me what was wrong so I finally told her. Mom told me that this is a common scam! I called Chase right away. It was too late to file a dispute on a charge last night, so I did this morning. I texted her today asking for my $ back & I called her.Desired Settlement: For [redacted] to refund the $1,000 charged on my Chase credit card & to give me back the $850 cash given to her on Saturday, July [redacted], 2014. The initial $75 for Friday July [redacted]'s reading was fair, because [redacted] actually sat down, gave me a long reading & spent time with me. The $1,850, is supposed to go towards work that [redacted] can't start without more money. I'm not going to give her more & I don't want this service, so I want a refund.
