I would like to submit a review for Sara Companion Services. From the beginning [redacted] who assisted us in meeting with my Father and speaking with me prior to meeting I was met with knowledge and compassion of the situation at hand. [redacted] the Home Health Care Coordinator could not have selected a better home health aide for our family. We had to have a male aide and we met [redacted]. [redacted] was the perfect fit for us in an awkward health care situation. [redacted] was compassionate, helpful, courteous to others and took the keen interest in the needs surrounding my father. He made sure items that he needed to better take care of my father were obtained thru the **. [redacted] sat in on meetings with health care people and genuinely took an interest. The compassionate person that [redacted] was made sure on the day my father had to go to in hospice care stayed behind to make sure I was ok at home and even attended my Father's funeral mass - this speaks for the person he is. I most likely will not be needing this type service again but I would chose them in a heartbeat as their staff was helpful, knowledgeable and very compassionate. Excellent company to deal with.
Review: We engaged Sara Companion Services to provide home care in the beginning of June 2015. Sara provided an aid that was for 24 hours of care 7 days a week. On the first day that the aid arrived, circumstances changed and we only needed the aid for less than a day. Sara was paid $3,500.00 for two weeks of service in advance.
Since we no longer needed the aid, In July of 2015, we asked Sara for a reimbursement.
Numerous telephone calls and e-mails have been made and we still have not received the reimbursement check.
Now, our telephone calls and e-mails are Not being returned.
Further details will be provided upon request.Desired Settlement: We have been trying to get the money that is owed to us for 5 months.
Desired outcome is to receive the money that is owed to us.
