To begin with Mr [redacted] did return the phone call and asked that eitherthe bride or groom who were our contracting parties get in touch with usThere was no reply and this complaint was filed instead We have reached out in good faith to the contracting party on this eventin an attempt to meet and discuss these items and find resolution Thebride and groom were contacted on 7/30/and did not reply I contactedher again on 7/31/to which she replied if was too difficult to gethere I offered to meet them somewhere closer to their home, the brideasked that we just “refund the $1,and apologize” I againexplained that we like to meet and review whenever there is an upset Shetold me she would get back to me on Monday 8/3/ She hasnot I reached out to her again yesterday, she has not replied still.As far as the bar tab in question: we go over every detail of the event withall contracting parties several times during the life of the contract Wehave a meeting around months out, another two weeks before the date and yetanother around days before We give them the opportunity to open thebar at all of these meetings, they did not The night of the event, anenvelop was handed to one of our employees to open the bar We asked ifthis was a bridal party tab and were told yes The envelope contained $1K which would be subject to our tax and administrative fees of 6.25% and 21% respectively meaning the bar bill was actually $which would noteven buy a drink per person for guests As a gesture of good will wewaived these fees so they have in fact already received $from us.Most importantly, they gave us $1,for the bar and they consumed the$1, If there was a miscommunication we are sorry for that, butagain this should have been handled in advance The bigger issue is thatthey paid for and received $1,in alcohol Their position that weshould refund it all is not reasonable Despite this fact, we are tryingto work with them and they are not responding or cooperating
