Review: I was having a problem with the driver side window of my 2002 Saturn wagon.. The window would not go up, so I decided to bring my vehicle to Santos Automotive to review the problem.I was told that they would have to take the driver side window apart to see what the problem was. They diagnosed the problem as the window switch had to be replaced.As a result of the mechanic replacing the switch and putting the window back together, the mechanic broke the driver side door panel.Desired Settlement: I would like for Santos to pay for my repairs to the side door panels..

This letter is in response to a complaint filed by [redacted]

[redacted] with the Revdex.com.

The case has been assigned ID number 9963439. Mrs. [redacted] brought her vehicle in to our

mechanic shop with a window that wouldn’t work.

While dismantling the window panel to check the problem one of the clips

that help hold the panel in place must have broken and once put back on, with the

broken clip it does not hold securely in that one spot. Mrs. [redacted] came back so that we could fix

the broken clip however the day she came we did not have enough time to fix the

problem. We understand why she is upset

and we want to fix the clip so that her panel will secure the way it did before

the only problem is the time it will take.

If Mrs. [redacted] would like to bring the car in to have it fixed we

will be happy to fix the clip problem at no charge, we just need her to

understand it will take a minute because the inside of the panel that retains

the clip may need some glue or something to hold the clip in. We will take her car as a priority and have

someone fix the problem as soon as possible.

We apologize for this issue she is having, however this kind of problem

with these clips is common and it is accidental for these clips to break.
