Mr. [redacted] told Alex that he did not turn in the keys because he wanted to be present for a walk-thru of his apartment. Alex explained to him that he would be charged one more day due to him still having possession of the apartment. Mr. [redacted] told Alex that he was not going to pay for the extra day and asked Alex to speak with the Manager, Ruth G[redacted]. I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and tried to explain to Mr. [redacted] the process and that indeed he did still have possession of the apartment and therefor he would be charged one more day. Mr. [redacted] became extremely upset and would not allow me speak or explain the process. Mr. [redacted] told me three times that I "BETTER" not charge him the extra day, I then responded to him if he was threatening me while he continued to tell me that I better not charge him.  He became angrier and did not respond to me asking him if he was threatening me. Mr [redacted] then asked for the number of my supervisor and I gave him that information. In his complaint he states that he had a great experience at first and through his year and a half, then he states...scary experience at the end. During the term of his residency, Mr. [redacted] never once addressed any issues or complaints with the office. In fact, he praised the staff in his 30-day written notice saying that he wanted to thank us for the great work we have done and that the apartments are peaceful and clean.
