Review: [redacted] and his crew were felling a dead tree on the lot next door to my house. I paid [redacted] 325.00 to have his crew climb one of my large pine trees and cut one live branch from the tree as well as all the dead branches. I requested this as the tree sits over my house and often the dead branches fall onto the roof causing damage. When I wrote him a check, he told me the work would be done that day, when they finished working next door. [redacted] left his crew working next door and went to post advertising in our small town for future work. He did not return. Several hour later, one of his crew members came to my house and asked me if they could return the following week to do the work on my tree. The reason he gave was, the job next door took them longer than expected and they had a long drive back home. In addition, he said they had to return to pick up the wood from next door. I told them that was fine. The following week came and went. They did not return, nor did I receive any phone calls/messages. Since then I have left approximately 18-20 phone messages and two emails. [redacted] called me back two different times and promised his return to complete the work. I took two different days off of work so I could be home when they came. They never showed. I called [redacted] two weeks ago and spoke with him briefly, expressing my disappointment and requested a refund. He said he would and asked me to send him my address. I did that via email and a phone message. I have yet to see a refund check.Desired Settlement: After waiting two months and leaving numerous phone messages, I would like my money back. It is apparent that David does not care to return to do the work for me.
