Sanford Home Solutions

This complaint is for service issues as well as contract issues. I hired Sanford Home Solutions to turn my existing deck in to a screened in porch and to add a stamped concrete patio. I have recently learned that Sanford Home Solutions did not get the permit required to perform the work. It is stated in the contract between Sanford Home Solutions and me that they would obtain the permit. That is violation of contact one. I was also told in the beginning of November that this would be a 2 1/2 week project. We are now approximately week 17 and the project is still not complete.

Regarding the concrete patio, another contractor has told me that it is likely the patio was not properly constructed. They simply poured concreted on to the grass. Sanford Home Solutions has shown me no evidence to the contrary.

Sanford Home Solutions also told me that that there was an electrical inspection performed. According to the permit office of the town that did not happen. So now I will need to have another company remove the ceiling of the porch so that a building and an electrical inspection can be done
