Review: In 2009 I went to sanforb- brown institute to find out information on their medical assistant program. upon getting there, I was told that I would get a job upon graduating and that if I went to a different school, my credits would transfer. I was unable to find a job and it is now 2013. I also went back to school for nursing and upon picking my classes, I was informed that my credits were pretty much useless and were not able to be transferred. I also had extra money from when my student loans paid the school and sanford brown ask if I wanted the check or if they should send the money back. I told them I wanted the money even though it was a very small amount. It said in their system that the money was refunded to me even though I never received it. They tell people all these lies to get them to sign up and it is ridiculous. I am in debt now for over $10,000 which is all for nothing. My teachers were a waste of time due to the fact that they did not really teach you anything (only two teachers actually taught you at that school) my one teacher would always be late and would fall asleep in class. You can pretty much buy your way through most of these classes and it is outrageous. I complained to the school and did not get anywhere. This school is a waste of anyone's time, the most you get for your money is a piece of paper that does not mean anything.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my student loans and any money that I paid twords my student loans. they lie to everyone who walks through their door just to get them to sign up and it is unfair. I would like my student loans to be refunded and I would like to be reimbursed for the money I paid my student loans. They can have their piece of paper back that does not mean anything.
