I applied for a loan online. The company told me I had to purshase a [redacted] card and load 100 dollars onto it. I asked if I was giving the 100 dollars to them and I was insured that I wasn't losing anything. I was then told to send a pic of the card through email for verification purposes. Someone from there company named [redacted] told me I would receive my loan within thirty minutes. Within that time my 100 dollars was taken from my card. I asked for my loan to be cancelled and for my 100 dollars to be returned to me. I was told I had to pay 48 dollars and then it would take 21 business days. I feel this was a scam and would like my money returned in full because I didn't consent for anyone to take it.Product_Or_Service: loan/prepaid cardDesired SettlementI would like my 100 dollars returned to me in full. I am receiving emails from a "[redacted]" claiming to be with the State Investigation Department. These emails display my social security number and threaten prosecution if I do not settle a payment with them that I supposedly owe. I have also filed complaints with the Consumer Protection Agency and the FBI's fraud department.Desired SettlementI wanted to make it known that this company is duping people by using their social security numbers and threats of prosecution.
