I was very excited to get a proper bag for military duty, but the SOC bag I purchased was "all show and no go". Cheap plastic buckles that break. Called customer service 5 times, no answer. No one ever returned a message. When Ryan did answer, his response was basically, we'll review it. Shoulder strap failed under normal civilian usage, which has never happened even with a Wal-Mart backpack. Ask yourself if you want to trust this bag on a deployment?

Review: On 8/30/2013 I submitted a warranty claim, per SOC website instructions, via email, including a picture of the broken backpack I purchased. The chest strap buckle on the backpack I purchased broke under normal use after just a few months. Six months later after filing the claim, on February 7th, SOC contacted me to tell me the item that I submitted as a warranty item was not warrantied. This is what the company told me "Unfortunately clips and buckles are not covered under our warranty policy due to them not being a defect in manufacturing. However, all is not lost! I can offer you either a new clip for $1 or a new chest strap for $4, both plus shipping. If interested, please e-mail me a response." I contested this. There is no way that SOC can determine that the clip did not in fact break due to a manufacturing defect. This poor customer treatment as well as unacceptable warranty response time is the reason for me complaint to the Revdex.com. Military and law enforcement professionals, whom SOC targets and advertises their products to, need to know that SOC does not stand behind their product.Desired Settlement: Send me a new chest strap and clip for my backpack.

Customer was given the warranty conditions and resolution was offered in the form of one (1) dollar for the clip requested, four (4) dollars for the strap requested.
