When I Broc H [redacted] arrived at the [redacted] Residence I found the lower element to be bad I replaced the bad elementI received another call a fews days latter saying that they were still running out of hot waterwhen I returned to the residence I asked [redacted] to run the hot water in the shower while the water was running I noticed that the recirculating pump was pulling cold water in to the water heaterI shut off the reinoculating pump and the water stayed hot I then noticed that there was no timer on the unit and was running contentiouslyI explained that it would need a timer to prevent this and for the recirculating pump to not run continuouslyI informed them that it would not be covered by the home warranty and that they could pick up a timer that plugs in to the wall that they could plug the pump in to or that I could get one but would have to charge for it she replied her husband could do thatAs far as the pump working for the past five years Iam unsure how that could be or how they could claim that as they told me they just moved in about a month or so agoAs for the $dollars Iam unsure of that as well I billed the home warranty company only for the lower element & labor for a total of $94.50Thank you Broc H [redacted] H [redacted] Plumbing LLC
Interesting response because since the issue was never resolved the Home Warranty company sent out another tech who said a timer would do nothing to resolve the problem And to answer his question, the previous home owner said he never had the problem with the water heater I get they can't determine the problem but why come up with a remedy that they know will not resolve the problem Any way, I have moved on to another plumber and don't want to waste my time with Hummel anymore

shower while the water was running I noticed that the recirculating pump was pulling cold water in to the water heater. I shut off the reinoculating pump and the water stayed hot I then noticed that there was no timer on the unit and was running contentiously. I explained that it would need a timer to prevent this and for the recirculating pump to not run continuously. I informed them that it would not be covered by the home warranty and that they could pick up a timer that plugs in to the wall that they could plug the pump in to or that I could get one but would have to charge for it she replied her husband could do that. As far as the pump working for the past five years Iam unsure how that could be or how they could claim that as they told me they just moved in about a month or so ago. As for the $100.00 dollars Iam unsure of that as well I billed the home warranty company only for the lower element & labor for a total of $94.50Thank you Broc H[redacted] Plumbing LLC.
