I would like to let you know, we are very honest people and would like to resolve this matter, but if the customer keeps telling lies what else can I do.
Thanks [redacted]
The customer brought in an atv that had been sitting in the sun for a long time we had to remove part of the plastic to complete the work he wanted done the sun rotted...
plastic fell apart we contacted the customer and asked him to come down and verify what had happened he declined and said go ahead and get a new piece .Instead of ordering a brand new piece at $105.00 we found him a perfect used one and gave it to him for $40.00 (our cost) he was happy with this. He picked up the atv, paid his bill completely satisfied. He came in a couple days later because the headlight bulb was burnt out. We gave him a new one then he said he wanted his money back. The job was completed to his satisfaction so we declined. As far as trying to steal another part I have no idea what he is referring to.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Ms [redacted]: In reply to Revdex.com, I would have to adamantly disagree with the response you received from San Tan Motorsports. The vehicle was released to the care of San Tan Motorsports in excellent condition for the sole purpose of providing the service of a minor engine tune up. The vehicle has never been stored in the sun nor does it exhibit any signs of sun exposure. What it does show is that it was improperly handled while in their care and their assertion of otherwise is a mere cover up of fact. I was not invited to verify what happened nor would not have permitted substitution of an inferior part at my expense when San Tan Motorsports thru neglect, destroyed the superior condition part . Replacement value is $262.99 at partsfinder.com enclosed link (http://[redacted].[redacted].com/[redacted].[redacted]. Additionally I was not satisfied when I picked up the vehicle and saw its condition, as a result I requested to speak to the manager or owner but was informed they would not be available until the following Monday; therefore I regrettably paid in order to retrieve my vehicle. I was further dissatisfied when I learned after arriving at home, San Tan Motorsports substituted out without authorization; a headlight that not only was used but also did not function. When I returned to demand a refund and return of my properly operating headlight, the manger turn around and pulled it from their new parts counter as if it was for resale as new. Not certain, but selling previously owned goods as new is probably not an ethical or legal means for conducting business.
