San Juan preschool and infant center

My original daycare provider was leaving for a vacation and suggested I use this business because she takes care of her child. *** agreed to watch my son for the week and two days that my daycare would be closed. When I arrived with my son on the first day, *** told me I didn’t have to sign any forms signing him in since we didn’t have an enrollment agreement. My daycare provider provided her with my sons file so that I didn’t have to provide anything and/or sign anything. I paid her $430 cash and she left my receipt in my sons diaper bag. Well, we thought COVID hit my household, and my fiancé had to get tested, and we all had to quarantine before the start of the following week. I informed *** he wasn’t going to be there and thanked her. I called back and left a voicemail asking for a refund and a new receipt with the actual dates (which were only 2) in which she actually watched my son. She returned my call and left me a message saying she wasn’t in that week but she would get back to me on the refund because she had to look into it and speak to someone regarding policy. This was in July. We are now in October and have not received a call back or a new receipt. I called and left another message and never received a call back for a refund. It’s so disappointing to know there are people out taking advantage of others during this pandemic. What a shame.
