Thank you for the opportunity to reply We are still trying to understand why items he alleges were done two years ago and were not brought up then, has any relevance to todayI believe he is only trying to paint a bad picture of us, which would be inaccurate So, I will only address the current issue This homeowner purchased his home, which was in very bad condition, poorly constructed and needed many structural enhancements in order to properly maintain the home's integrityWe did our part by reroofing his homeThere were many structural issues which we had to modify in order to meet current building standardsThe county inspected and passed a final roof permit after we completed the reroofing projectThat will more than show compliance with all building codes We also had to assist the homeowner in an illegal electrical condition at the propertyWe assisted in the correction of that particular item for the homeowner Our company went above and beyond the call of duty on every aspect of his project Now the homeowner expects our company to have protected his home from rodents, which any home is at risk for rodent intrusion He lives in a very heavily wooded area, therefore is very prone to rodent infestationHe is expecting this company to have taken the role of a pest control companyFurthermore, the insulation in his home is decades old, and he is simply trying to extort the expense for new insulationFurthermore, this homeowner has decided to have solar panels installed by a third-party, p poking dozens of unauthorized holes into his new roof, therefore voiding out his entire roof warrantyWe are sorry that he has made bad decisionsThank you

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for sending me a copy of this complaintI am more than happy to respond to this complaint in this letter First of all, we did complete a small roofing repair on the [redacted] ' home in late Upon completion, we were notified by them that there was an issue with a few droplets of primer on their concreteThey proceeded to pay us in full for our roof repair Within a month, the homeowners approached us with a repair order of over $ Upon closer inspection of the work bid by a concrete company of their choice, it appeared that the homeowners wanted their entire backyard completely repaved, and not just the few square feet of previously stained concrete from which we had already removed the stains Then, upon a site visit I took many photos that show their entire backyard in disrepair and not being maintained properly therefore causing all of their concrete to be unsightlyThese are from hot tubs, bbq's, planters, picnic tables, outdoor carpets, pet stains etcThese homeowners have allowed their back yard to become weathered worn and stained over the years of their own abuse and they simply wanted to have their entire backyard remodeled at our expense I contacted a concrete professional, had them come out to the site and run an evaluation of the "problem" They literally saw no issues with the concrete in the area they claimed we stainedIn fact, this area was the best looking part of their entire back yard, and he insisted we take this to court So, in order to appease the owners, I agreed to have the entire rear yard concrete sealed with a product that would make their yard look better than it ever had beforeThey declined They still want their entire back yard concrete removed and replacedTo this I say absolutely not, and we now have the testimony and field observations of the concrete company we hired to evaluate the site a couple of months ago and we feel we have what we need in order to prevail in a court of law However, we would like to extend the original offer to re-seal the ENTIRE back yard concrete with a beautifying sealer, but we will NOT scrape out the entire back yard of concrete and re-pour it for themThis demand on their part is ludicrous We would perform the sealant application with the direction of the manufacturerIf they would like that option we would be more than happy to oblige Thank you very much Respectfully, [redacted] *** San Diego Roofing Inc
