San Diego Culinary Institute Inc

After going through the whole application process and being accepted, I was pushed to sign an arbitration agreement saying I not only can't sue if I am not satisfied but I would have to deal with an an arbitrator of their choosing. As a Marine Veteran, who fought for the rights we hold dear - I don't easily give them up. I merely asked to hold off on this document until I could get some more information. The next day I received a call from the head chef instructor and was told my acceptance is redacted due to concerns they have of the questions I raised. Save yourself sometime and find another culinary school. Now I am at a good reputable culinary school approved for GI BILL benefits and guess what.....NO NEED to sign an arbitration agreement. I guess they stand by what they promise and don't fear being sued. It may be "common practice" as they told me and does benefit them, but it does affect actual people and consumers. I may of had to travel further and wait longer to attend culinary school, but I am extremely happy at The International Culinary Institute and they were just named the best culinary school in the country. In a way, I guess I could thank the school to make me look elsewhere for another school.
