Review: Contractor was hired for a home improvement project in the [redacted] section of [redacted], Pennsylvania (repair water damage to wall, replace door and install shelves in closet). A written proposal which defines the scope of work was created. Contractor never finished the job; nor was the partially-completed portion of the job properly or satisfactorily completed. Contractor also caused damage to the property - there is now a leak in the main sewer drain. Contractor has disappeared; he has not shown to finish the job nor has he responded to numerous telephone and text messages. Total amount paid to contractor thus far is $500. Cost to repair the sewer leak is unknown.Desired Settlement: Refund of $500 which represents all monies paid to the contractor to date.
