decision we decided to go with a used transmission with a 90 day warranty presented by the used yard parts. About four weeks later, Mr. [redacted] showed up at the shop with the trac control light on. We road tested the vehicle, found the transmission shifting properly. We noticed and advised Mr. [redacted] to replace his rear bald mismatching tires as they affect the proper vehicle function. He implied that he will take care of it. A month later, he called again with the trac light back on (still showed up with the bad, bald tires) and the check engine light on. We diag the car found, PO300, P0440 and PO174codes. Road test and smoke test system. None of these codes transmission related transmission still shifting properly. On the first week of March, he called threatening with his lawyer and wants to sue us. he claims after parking his car up on a hill for two weeks the reverse is not working. We advised him to bring the car in so we can check on it. The next morning, Saturday at 8:00 am, he called and said he took the car to another garage and they told him the transmission was no good. As we speak, he is still the car around with no problem to the transmission. He filed a complaint to the Revdex.com and in the [redacted]e time he is asking me to help out with the vehicle. We originally gave him an estimate of 3481.00, he paid 200.00 deposit and another 1200.00 payment he still owes 281.00 that he never paid. He collected 4100.00. Please note, after he bought the car at the auction, he claimed that someone hit him in the back and that resulted in damaging the transmission. He still owes us money. The 90 day warranty supplied by the used yard parts is over. he is trying to harass us, extract free work from us. Thank you
