We apologize for the confusion on our part The Customer came and bought the car when there was a gas shortage, and the pumps had no fuel We had to mail out gas cards to quite a few customers, and unfortunately, we overlooked theirs When we realized our mistake, we got the gas card mailed out promptly
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The information they provided is dishonest. I purchased the car in July and began communications with them shortly after. They did not fill up my car because the salesman said that the card wasn't working so he used his own card to fill up the car just a little bit. He promised me a full tank of gas per the documents at purchase. He said if we came back Friday they would give me a full tank of gas. We live in approximately 45 miles from the dealership so I asked if they could just mail a gas card. It was agreed upon from the Sales Director. After that I received no response. I emailed every week and have attached my documentation. I was either ignored or received a delayed response. I called and left messages with the receptionist for the salesman and never received a phone call back. I emailed the salesman, the Sales Director, and finally the Director of the dealership. It would be nice if they could just be honest and take ownership for their mistake instead of lying and saying there was no gas and they mailed a gas card promptly. They only mailed a check in September after I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com. It's a shame that they have no integrity and can't just own up to a simple error. To me they sold a car and that was it, they didn't care about any aftermath or have any regard for providing customer service to someone who just purchased a new car.
