Dear *** *** *** & Revdex.com,I would like to start and say thank you for sending us this complaint and giving us an opportunity to replyWe are aware that *** and *** are “unhappy” with their BrutusWhen they were in looking for Brutus they stated they were sent here by another
dealer since it showed online I had one on stock*** and *** did not ask a lot of questions about the Brutus when they were in and acted very knowledgeable on the productI offered a test ride*** drove Brutus noticed immediately on how slow it wasI said “its top speed is only it would take you from here to the other side of the hill to get to top speed” (which was yards away)This is a low speed vehicleThey definitely did not ask about mowing up a very steep inclineThey never told me they were going to mow up more than degree gradesThey talk about the degree slope not being toldThis is posted in operation manual and in vehicle on warning decalIf you look most all tractor manufactures have this posted and it is not commercially advised to mow on grades steeper than degreesThis is to be considered “known knowledge” in the mowing industryThey also refer to "Not Knowing the Return Policy”Before even receiving a deposit I sent them an email on 6-15-had him sign and return with the following statement typed on bill of sale“All Sales are final, No RefundsDeposits are non refundable.” All the rest came and went we delivered vehiclePretty much immediately stated they were not happyI went through some performance checks with them on the phoneThey all checked goodI told them to run it for hours as recommended by owner’s manualThen re-check performanceThey called and said no changeI sent a truck and trailer from dealership to pick this unit up no charge to customerKeep in mind we are in PA they are in West VirginiaWe performance checked it in storeAll checks goodI confirm checks with BrutusWe then re-delivered back to customerCustomer still not satisfiedI talked with our Brutus field rep confirmed what customer is mowing is not recommended at more than thirty degreesPolaris does not offer a buy back program, nor does our dealershipIt is stated to the customer as pointed out on quote paperwork and during paperwork sign outIt is in writing that we do not have a return program (see attached bullet points & 2.)The last correspondence I had with *** was thru email (see attached.) I offered him that he could trade the vehicle in on something that would meet or exceed his expectationsI also offered him phone number to Brutus customer service-Thank You,Joshua *S***, Manager Snows Polaris
