The intent of this letter is to respond to a complaint (#***) filed against DegreeMatch.com on March 4th, 2016. In the complaint the consumer states that he received calls from us despite his phone number being on the National Do Not Call Registry.DegreeMatch.com is in the business of
strictly calling consumers who request calls from our company regarding educational opportunities. We do not call anyone without written consent, and display to consumers via the internet a TCPA compliant oin accordance with the E-Sign Act. Consumers can oto these calls via our DegreeMatch.com website and/or websites we partner with. All consent for these calls is thoroughly vetted to be in compliance with the TCPA, Do Not Call regulations and all other state/federal laws by our attorneys and 3rd party compliance consultants.On March 4th, DegreeMatch received a request for a consumer to be contacted through our affiliated website ***. While searching for a job a consumer indicated they would also like to be called by DegreeMatch regarding educational opportunities. The following information was keyed into a form and submitted to us along with the consent: Phone Number: *** First Name: *** Last Name: *** Email: *** City: *** State: ** Zip: *** The request came from the IP Address: ***, which using a 3rd party service we geographically matched to a Timer Warner cable internet customer in Westerville Ohio. We placed two calls to the consumer that same day (March 4th). The consumer then called us back, and used out interactive system to remove their number from our list. We have not called the consumer since, and have placed them on our permanent Do Not Call list.We believe this has demonstrated our adherence to all applicable laws and our legal consent to call this consumer, regardless of being on the Do Not Call list (since an express consent trumps the National DNC). We have permanently blocked this number and will not call the consumer again under any circumstances. Should more information be required, please do not hesitate to reach out. All consent for these calls is thoroughly vetted to be in compliance with the TCPA, Do Not Call regulations and all other state/federal laws. On 2016-02-at 5:19PM EST we received a request through a partner site that while taking a survey on the website ***m a consumer checked a box indicating they wished to be called by us to discuss educational opportunities on the phone number: 518-590-9191. Along with this request, we received the following information, keyed into the form by the consumer: *** *** ***

*** *** IP Address: *** As a part of validating this request, we used 3rd party services to validate the IP address, email and phone number. The geographic IP validation indicated that the IP address belonged to a *** customer in the state of Arizona. The request also came from a mobile phone which our server logs indicated is most likely a *** ***. Upon receiving this opt-in, we began dialing the consumer’s phone number the next day, 2016-02-08. We placed a total of calls to the number, all of which weren’t answeredOn 2016-02-at 11:38am EST, the consumer called into our automated system and requested to be added to our Do Not Call list. This instantly and permanently blocked the consumer’s phone number from ever being called by our company again. The consumer will not be contacted by us again, which we hope resolves this complaintShould further information be necessary feel free to request whatever you may need. We believe this information adequately demonstrates our adherence to all state and federal laws as well as showing that we have resolved this issue by permanently blocking the consumer’s phone number.
