Complaint *** *** This complaint has been resolved The notice is the first I've heard about this onemy salesman has been dealing with them The King mattress we were just waiting for a ok from Serta and it takes a few weeksShe was informed of thisi did get the
OK and we have now exchanged this for a new mattressThere was no issue with this one The full mattress that the protector failed, we were not at fault as like ANY store we sell the products but the warranty is with the manufactureThe stain voided Serta warranty as they are not responsible for mattress protectorsAs far as the protector my salesman showed her she was supposed to register the protector and blamed our salesman for not telling herthese protectors are sold at Walmart, target and Thousands of other stores and I'm sure if it was purchased at one of these stores they would not take the blame for someone not telling the customer to register a warrantyIf it was registered the first thing the first thing the warranty company would have looked into is does it a have a cover on the mattress that could be washed & IT DOESThe second is they would have hired a carpet cleaning company to clean itIn short it wasn't registered so she came back to us saying we were at faultSummary is She wrote the better business with the complaintI have to say writing the Revdex.com or getting a attorney had NO EFFECT OR MY DISSION or maybe the contraryI would have washed my hands of it and said we were not at faultHer daughter being handy capped and still sleeping in the mattress was my reasoning for exchanging the mattressAlso when she came in and my son dealing with them and saying they were nice people influenced my decision to exchange itI will bend over backwards for a nice customer and also hold my ground with a demanding customerI always let everyone know that ever has any issues with anythingJust like in your family your get further sugar than saltAny way In short, problem solved and both mattresses have been exchanged along giving her a new mattress protectorthis is a (one time exchange) as we the retailer was not at fault even though I took care of the issueI did let her know she should purchase a mattress protector for the new mattress that zips over the complete and also register the protectors so this doesn't happen againAlso by the way, for the heck of it I unzipped the mattress cover and washed it and it looks as good as newThis could have been done in the beginningEven though I washed it I had to trow the mattress outI can't do anything with it as Serta won't take it back and of course I can't and wouldn't resell itI think Mrs***d was pleased wand she was pleasant to work with when she came back in to get another mattress protector AND by the way this is the FIRST TIME I've ever heard of one of these mattress protectors failingAny problems that are ever given to me in my business.I always put myself in the customers place in deciding what will I doIn some cases customer have to big of expectationsOne thing comes to mindMost factory warranties on appliances are yearI had a customer call me one time saying their refrigerator was only years ild and they can't believe it failed and I should take care of the repairneedless to sayI didn't do this one.Thank youSam MoriconiOwner of Sam's Best Brands
