The dry cleaning branch that the customer is referring to did close rather suddenly as we were on a month to month lease and the landlord needed us to move out to make way for a new tenant. We had about 10 days to move and our clerks did attempt to call everyone with items to be picked up to...
tell them that we were moving these items to our location on [redacted] but we do not always have a phone number for every customer. We did put up a sign in the window but the construction crew that began work almost immediately upon our departure, removed the sign. We called the customer on Friday, August 18th, the day that we received this complaint, and left a message to apologize, to explain what had happened and to give the customer the address of the location that has his shirts. I checked today and the shirts had not yet been picked up so I reached out to the customer via email. That email was copied to [redacted]We truly regret the inconvenience caused by this situation & we have reached out to the customer via phone and email to let him know what happened. Please let us know if we can do anything further.
We did have to process the spotting of this shirt more than once as it was a white shirt and we do not like to be overly aggressive in treating stains because we must be careful not to damage the fabric. We were able to remove the stains and we have returned the cleaned shirt to the...
branch. Our manager is going to refund the customer for the cost of cleaning the shirt as we regret the inconvenience and extra processing time that the customer experienced. We also regret the communication issues and hope that this resolves the situation to our customer's satisfaction.
