We stayed in a Salty Springs Rental titled *** Living from 7/18/20-7/25/20. Upon arrival the house was not clean and we spend the first three hours cleaning it despite paying a $300 cleaning fee. The washer did not work and the cleaning lady had stated it had been an ongoing issue. The sink leaked and they also knee about this issue and water had leaked all over our cleaning supplies that we brought. The refrigerator wouldn't close and when we notified *** of Salty Springs she informed me that this was a minor issue. The vacuum cleaner was also broken, there was no coffee pot and these were amenities that we were promised. When *** was notified of these issues she became defensive and unhelpful.
Billing Adjustment We paid a $300 cleaning fee and the house was not clean upon arrival. We went a week without a washing machine which we were also promised. The sink leaked all over our cleaning supplies, we didn't have a coffee pot, the property manager was not helpful at all. When we emailed her about a partial refund she became defensive and informed us that it was her anniversary and gave us a guilt trip.
This client left feces, urine all over toilets when they left . During covid the cleaners were scared and had to get extra protection. They broke into a locked closet which is customary for owners to keep their private stuff. 6 towels were missing. In our policy with pets they were suppose to have them locked up when leaving they were left out and hair was everywhere. Coffee container was replaced it was accidentally taken by previous guest. The sink did not leak the garbage disposal was broken we had asked the guests to not use it as it causes leaking they did not listen. Repairman was there. We offered free washing in place of washing machine at a facility that uses PPE they refused. The $300 paid for the cleaners all of it goes to them and they drove 50 miles for these folks on top of that. If anything I'm deeply saddened to see this as we tried everything in our power to help them. Not only did they refuse they stole and left dangerous bodily fluids and feces everywhere. I asked *** for insurance reimbursement for the towels as they are the owners not mine. They are still missing. We have eye witness with camera evidence to show what has happened. Again COVID has sadly brought out many monsters and I'm deeply saddened by this report. As we worked non stop including my 12 year anniversary to make these people happy only to have lost a lot.
These acquisitions are false. There was. I urine or feces left behind and we didn't break into a locked closet. The closet was open upon arrival and we took a few towels out that were given to the cleaning lady to clean, she also saw us take the towels out and didn't say we weren't aloud to use them. Again, the washer that we were promised did not work the entire stay. The sink leaked over our cleaning supplies that we had brought. No one had told us this and when I brought it up to the cleaning lady she said it was know about however we were not informed. We were appalled at the condition of the home as we arrived. Besides the beds being made and the refrigerator cleaned out the house was a mess. It's becoming obvious that *** is full of lies and when we wrote about our experience on a Facebook page a member of the group messaged said they have had a similar experience.
This customer has been looking for a refund of money from day one - he is simply looking for $300. We stand by our company and this house is gorgeous. We will not continue to reply.
