This complaint is hardly accurate. This person was sent to collections for $266.95. This was after 4 statements were mailed and 4 phone messages were left trying to resolve the account. going to resolve the balance. We tried making another attempt to contact them before we sent the account to collections. This patient called our office asking why $7 was showing up on their credit report. We do not have anything to do with credit reporting, so we referred them to our collection agency. It sounds like they have a problem with our collection agency, not us. Once the account has been sent to collections, it is out of our control for credit reporting. It is unfortunate that all of this had to happen simply because they ignored our 8 attempts to contact them over a period of 6 months.
