We are sorry for the confusion and agree that demand letters are not necessary once payment agreements are arranged.  There is a note on the account that one of the College collection employees communicated with the spouse on 4/4/17 and was informed to ignore the demand letter and continue...

making payments.  There is language on the 2nd & 3rd demand letters indicating that if a payment pay has been accepted, to please disregard the demand letter.  However, this is an automated process with sending out these letters and we will be reviewing that process to evaluate not sending demand letters if payment agreements are in place or see that similar language is included in the 1st demand letter.  We appreciate the complainant input that will allow us to review and correct processes.
