Re: Your Letter Of August 1, 2014/ Salon Tiffany. Inc.
Dear Ms. [redacted]:
Thank you for your letter of August 1, 2014....
Despite significant misgivings, we provided Ms. [redacted] with a full refund, along with the additional $70.00 she claimed was owed on August 4, 2014; before we received a copy of her instant complaint to the Revdex.com ("Revdex.com"). The amount was not paid because we believed her complaint was meritorious; to the contrary, we denied, and continue to deny that we damaged her hair, and/or failed to perform within reasonable expectations. The Revdex.com should also note that: (i) Ms. [redacted] utilized our services, although, by her own admission, we were not her regular hair Stylists; (ii) she observed the entire process, but made no complaint during her session, and/or when the session was completed; (iii) she paid her bill in full without reservation; and (iv) she actually provided a monetary tip to the stylist. We have been in business for more than 30 years, and, as appropriate, can provide numerous assurances from our own customers concerning their satisfaction with our services and materials.
After Ms. [redacted] subsequently complained to us by telephone, we offered to review the process with her, and re-do matters as necessary. Unfortunately she refused, demanding, instead, via her attorney (enclosed) a full refund and additional monies to compensate her for her alleged claims. On advice of our own counsel, we chose to tender the demanded amounts; however, we stress that this was not an admission of any wrongdoing on our part, but was paid simply because we lacked the time and inclination to pursue this dispute with Ms. [redacted]. We, of course, reserve our own rights and remedies against Ms. [redacted], however situated.
We have advised Ms. [redacted] that we no longer wish to perform services for her, and that if she returns to our business premises, we will regard her as a trespasser. Should there be any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me further.
Very truly yours,
