Have been going to this salon for well over a year. The last time this particular stylist cut my hair and messed it up I ended up cutting my hair completely off. Had an appointment on 03/08/2016 at 5:00 pm EDT. Brought in a picture to request my hair be cut that way-not at all what I got?! My bangs were cut and the top of my head had a few layers shortened?! I am growing my hair into a medium to long SHAG with feathered or razored layers which is how I have always worn my hair when it is longer and the style works for me. I have no layers throughout my hair and the sides are just long and straight. My husband looked at my hair and said what happened-that is not what you asked for? We were charged $48.30 and did not get the service requested. We contacted the salon within two (2) hours of my appointment to inform them that I was not at all happy with the cut?! Was told if I come back in I will not be charged for that visit to fix the mess up but when we contacted the owner, she wanted an additional $23 to chop around on my air to fix it?! There was never an offer of a refund of any kind?! We have since declined the charge with our bank at our inconvenience as we have to get a replacement debit card because we declined the charge and to protect the account integrity. I have found another salon who will fix the mess I currently have. I am loyal to a stylist if they know what they are doing but in this case it is a matter of being too inexperienced to do what was asked for and the owner was in no way willing to make things better without charging us even more money?! Apparently she is in the business just to make a buck and does not really care if the hair cut is done right and the Client is pleased?!
Want other Consumers to be made aware of this when looking for a salon to do hair and realize this stylist is just too inexperienced to do what a Client is paying for and requests?! What is the purpose of bringing in a picture-to assure no mistakes and the stylist understands?!Product_Or_Service: hair cut or shape up at a salonDesired SettlementWant and expect a FULL REFUND totaling $48.30.
