Salon Juan

Nov.9 2018 I paid Salon Juan a deposit of $4404.00 for a custom hair system made to order for me by Cesare R in Italy. I heard nothing more from Juan and contacted the salon in Feb and again in late May. I was told they had wonderful hair for me and asked when I could come to the salon. I thought it was the system I'd ordered and asked if the Cesare R was in. "No," Robin told me, "Italy can't source your hair so we decided to make two toppers instead at no further cost to you." She said the two toppers were $1800 each, an insanely high price.

I was shocked but asked to see them. When they arrived I was unhappy with the color and quality but needed a topper and agreed to keep one. I was told, "We could try to sell the other for you." Finally I talked to Juan on the phone and he said he would do an even exchange of the worst one for a better one so I returned it. I wrote to them many times and they never sent the promised replacement and never responded. This was in June.

Finally, on Dec.26 2019 I began to demand my money back and on Feb.5 2020 got an arrogant and nonsensical email that I had rejected three toppers and they were "still trying to sell three toppers I rejected." And Juan had "decided to send me $2000 by check in March." I no longer trust these people. All I want is the refund owed me minus $1800 for the topper. $2,600.is what they owe me. My preference would be to send back the topper for a full refund. But the minimum they owe is $2600.
