Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.? Regards, [redacted]
this correspondence is in response to your Letter dated January 19, and received on January 24th regarding this referenced January 17th complaint from *** *** ***Specifically, Mr*** submitted a complaint about a "solicitation" received from our business after
previously requesting to be removed from our customer data baseWe do not dispute the fact that he made a prior request that had gone unfilled and sincerely regret that the removal of his information was not completed in a more timely manner. This "solicitation" for which Mr*** felt compelled to report us was a harmless, friendly and short email we send out every January as a courtesy to our 600=/- pas and current customers and guestsWe own and operate a lodging and fishing business and this annual email is deployed simply to "announce" that our new (in this case, 2018) reservation calendar is (updated and now) available, in the event folks have the desire to visit during the upcoming season. 'r'e completely respect and protect our customers' rights to privacyMr***' information was promptly and completely removed from our data base on January 17,within seconds of receiving his request that same day to be removedWe also immediateiy contacted him via email that this had been done and with a sincere apology for not doing so prior, to which he did not reply. Again, we regret the unintentional oversight on our pa1i when the remova request was initially r ceived and appreciate you contacting us regarding this matter.
