On May 22, the consumer contacted Salewa NA/Dynafit NA detailing what he/she believed to be a ski binding failureConsumer states there is ‘a void in the binding mounting plate behind one the front screws.’On May 24, Salewa NA responded to the customer after inspecting all five photos the consumer provided with our Warranty CoordinatorWe believe these are Radical ST bindingsSalewa NA informed the customer that all Dynafit Bindings have a two year manufacturer defect warranty period and that it appears the consumer was using quiver killer inserts and the thread locker the consumer used reacted with the plastic causing it to melt and weakenThis warranty claim was rejected because the original screws were not used to mount the binding to the skiOn May 25, consumer responded twice within one hour and fifteen minutes with the same emails asking for us to explain the where we so the meltingWe responded again with that the pictures revealed that this was not manufacturer defectWhile Salewa NA stands behind its initial position denying the consumer claim we would be happy to replace this consumer’s back unitWe will need to receive the back unit the consumer has claimed manufacturer defect on prior to replacingIf the consumer can provide us with proof of purchase showing these bindings fall with our two year warranty period we would appreciate it

Hello [redacted],This is a very odd case.  It seems like this case should be directed to Salewa North America and not us.  We are a retail store called Wilderness Exchange Unlimited and we are a Salewa/Dynafit dealer.  I have checked our sales history, and even though [redacted] has...
