Review: Our business purchased an ad in a coupon booklet to be stuffed in bags at a local fast food chain. We were told this booklet would contain a community events schedule, local business ads, and coupons for free items from the food chain. Another key in this purchase was that we had exclusivity for our type of retail business. The coupon booklets have been printed, and there is no community events schedule, just ads/coupons. As far as exclusivity goes, even though it is the very first line in our contract/invoice, there are coupons from our direct competitors. This is the case with multiple businesses with ads in these booklets.Salem Pro will not return phone calls or other forms of contact.Desired Settlement: While we obviously won't be doing business with Salem Pro again, we're expecting a refund of our payment since we were pretty blatantly lied to about the exclusivity clause and events schedule and did not receive what we paid for.

Review: Mr. [redacted], Owner is a LIAR,CHEATER who STOLE MY MONEY and MISREPRESENTED HIMSELF AND HIS COMPANY.Mr [redacted] approached our business selling a coupon for advertising our business.LIE #1:Mr [redacted] GUARANTEED we would be the ONLY toystore in his advertisement, and we were not. He also included one of our competitors. He completely lied regarding our exclusivity. LIE #2Mr [redacted] also showed me a sample of the advertising quality which was printed on high gloss paper, and that our ad would be produced on the same type paper. The ad appeard to be photocopied on a hogh quality color printer. LIE #3Mr. [redacted] GUARANTEED that a minimum of 13,000 flyers would be distributed in [redacted] bags. I went to [redacted] every day for a week and never received a coupon in my bag. He also claimed there would be a total of 25,000 flyers printed. LIE #4Mr. [redacted] said there would be a listing of community events. There are no community events listed.Expecting a 1% result of 13,000 coupons is not an unreasonable rate of return, but we have never seen any customers from our hard earned money given to Salempro Advertising.NUmerous calls to Mr. [redacted] at ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### have gone to voice mail, and he has never had the courtesy of returning a phone call. I would like a full refund as Mr. [redacted] lied to me, my competion, and others to sell his ad, which apparently were never stuffed in a [redacted] bag, just dropped of at the local merchants who advertised in it.Desired Settlement: FULL REFUND WE PURCHASED THE BACK PAGE FOR $290Gary [redacted]Salem Promotional Publications[redacted]July 10, 2014[redacted]:I want to follow up our recent telephone conversation concerning the [redacted] program in the local area. The [redacted]'s restaurants in [redacted], will be distributing booklets to their customers. Inside the booklets will be a community events schedule for the area. Also, there will be coupons for free items at the participating [redacted]'s. We include several categories in the booklet, and your business would be the only one of its type We give you as many booklets as you would like to distribute as well. The program runs for 13 weeks distributing over 25 ,000 booklets throughout the local area. The cost is $260 for an inside ad; $290 for a back page; and $350 for a front page ad. This program will start around in approximately three weeks. We will send you a proof for your approval before public

Response:
We have returned the business' payment and will be glad to do whatever we can to remedy any disappointment the owner had with our effort to keep his exclusivity in place. We never saw an overlap, but if he did, then that is worth our making restitution.
